On route to Nain!

Today we are on route to Nain to begin our summer fieldwork! We are expected to arrive at some point later this morning weather dependent. After we arrive we will begin surveys with geophysics equipment that lets us see down to 25 meters into the ground. This equipment will help us see where permafrost exists below the community and should help the Nunatsiavut Government with planning future developments within the town boundaries!
