Nain Fieldwork!

Permafrost work in Nain, Labrador in consultation with the Nunatsiavut Government. In this image we are laying out cables for a type of geophysical survey which uses electrical current sent into the ground. This method is extremely useful for finding permafrost bodies deep below the surface in the discontinuous permafrost zone.
